Platform Fees
Contract Settlement Fees
- Winner/Loser (A_WINS or B_WINS): 5% platform fee
- Both Complete (BOTH_YES): No fee - full refund
- Both Lose (BOTH_LOSE): No winner, no fee - every stake is refunded in full
- Solo goals: Free, and never charged for missing your own goal - any stake is refunded
Platform fees are deducted from the contract pot before payouts. The winner receives the remaining amount after the fee.
Network & Processing Fees
For BOTH_LOSE contract resolutions, network fees (payment processing costs) are deducted from the pot before the 50/50 split between charity and platform.
Network fees are calculated based on actual Stripe processing costs or a configured estimate if actual fees are unavailable.
Deposits & Withdrawals
Deposits
No fees for deposits. The full amount you deposit is added to your wallet balance.
Withdrawals
Withdrawals are processed manually. Processing typically takes 1-3 business days. No withdrawal fees are charged by the platform.
Charity Donations
When both participants fail to complete a contract (BOTH_LOSE), the net pot (after network fees) is split 50/50:
- 50% allocated to charity (tracked in your charity balance)
- 50% to platform revenue
Charity allocations are tracked in your account. Future features will allow you to donate these funds to selected charities.
Refund Policy
Deposits are non-refundable except in cases of:
- Failed payment processing
- Duplicate charges (will be automatically refunded)
- Fraudulent transactions (contact support)
Contract deposits are returned in full if both participants complete all days (BOTH_YES).
